About Me
I am a husband, father, pastor, and teacher who has been radically shaped by the grace of Jesus Christ. In 2003, God transformed my life, and since that day my calling has been clear: to shepherd God’s people, preach the gospel with conviction and compassion, and help families grow deep roots in Christ.
My heart for ministry is simple but weighty. I believe the local church is God’s primary means of forming disciples, strengthening families, and bearing faithful witness in a restless world. I preach the Word with clarity and urgency, grounded in historic Christian doctrine and applied to everyday life with pastoral care. Grace is not opposed to truth—and truth is never separated from love.
Academically, I am trained as a theologian and church historian, having earned a PhD in Biblical Studies, Historical Theology and a ThM in Church History from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. My scholarly work focuses on Charles Spurgeon’s eschatology and the hope of Christ’s return, but my greatest passion is seeing theology lived out in the home, the church, and the community.
Pastorally, I have served churches in Illinois, Kansas, and Virginia, leading congregations through seasons of renewal, discipleship, and mission. I have helped churches clarify vision, strengthen leadership, expand outreach, and embrace both personal and digital ministry. Whether preaching on a Sunday morning, teaching in a classroom, or walking with families through moments of joy and grief, my aim is always the same: to glorify God by loving His people well. I graduated with an MDiv from Sioux Falls Seminary in 2015.
Alongside ministry, I bring a strong background in technology and systems thinking. For over a decade, I worked in senior-level IT roles, which has shaped how I approach leadership, organization, communication, and digital ministry. I believe thoughtful use of technology can serve—not replace—the mission of the Church.
Most importantly, I am deeply committed to my family. My wife and I serve as a team in life and ministry, and together we are raising our daughter to love Christ with her whole heart. Family discipleship is not a program to me—it is a calling.
Wherever God leads next, my prayer remains the same:
to be faithful, to shepherd humbly, and to proclaim Christ boldly.
For His Glory.
