A New Season of Ministry — An Invitation to Partner
Dear Friends, Family, and Faithful Partners,
Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
I want to share an important update — one that reflects both a growing sense of gospel urgency and a deepening dependence on the Lord's leading in our lives.
Over the past several months, Nina, Ella and I have been in a sustained season of prayer and discernment, asking God to make clear our next assignment in His mission. During this time, we were contacted by the North American Mission Board regarding the possibility of planting a church in the Gloucester, VA area. We are currently in active conversations, preparing for meetings, and pressing into the Lord for clarity and conviction through every step of this process.
We are holding this with open hands — and with open hearts.
While church planting is a very real and compelling possibility, we are also prayerfully exploring opportunities to come alongside existing congregations in need of revitalization — helping strengthen, rebuild, and refocus churches for gospel impact in their communities. Our heart is not tied to one model, but to one mission: faithful obedience to whatever assignment God places before us. Wherever the harvest is ripe, that is where we want to be.
What we do know is this — God is already moving.
A core group is beginning to gather around us: men and women who are praying, seeking, and sensing a call to be part of something new. Whether through planting or revitalization, there is a kindling desire to see lives transformed, disciples formed, and the gospel proclaimed with clarity and boldness in this region. The fields are white; we are asking the Lord of the harvest to send laborers — and we believe He may be sending us.
For this season, our family is temporarily back in Gloucester as we continue taking these next steps in faith. We are also celebrating a major milestone — Ella will be graduating from high school at Liberty University this May. It is a full and deeply meaningful season for our family, and we are grateful for how the Lord is ordering every step.
As we look ahead, one thing is certain: we cannot step into this calling alone.
Whether planting a new work or revitalizing an existing church, this mission requires a team — people who will pray without ceasing, encourage through the difficult days, and partner financially in the work God is calling us to do. At this moment, none of the ministry opportunities before us are able to fully support our family, and so in order to move forward faithfully and effectively, we need committed partners who believe the gospel is worth it.
Will you prayerfully consider joining us on mission?
We are asking the Lord to raise up a team of monthly ministry partners — individuals and families who believe in what God is doing here and are willing to invest in it for the long haul. Whether through a monthly gift of $50, $100, $250, $500, or a larger investment of $1,000, $5,000, or even $10,000, every commitment — great or small — helps build the foundation needed to step into what God is calling us to do. Monthly partnerships are especially impactful, as they provide the consistent, sustained support that allows us to focus fully on the mission.
If you feel led to partner with us — whether monthly or with a one-time gift — you can learn more and give at:
More than anything, we ask for your prayers. Pray that we would walk in wisdom, move in obedience, and serve with the boldness that comes only from the Spirit of God. We are not building something for ourselves — we are trying to be faithful to the One who called us.
Thank you for standing with us in this season. We believe wholeheartedly that God is at work, and we are deeply grateful for those who choose to be part of it.
For His Glory
Dillon, Nina & Ella Evans
